The sailboats have crossed the finish line! This block is so easy to do using the 12" Accuquilt cube. Using the #5 and #8 dies made it so quick to cut and piece. And it finally made it to the quilting machine this week.
This will be a donation quilt I will send home with my DIL next month for her group to give the quilt to someone in need.
Thank you accuquilt for the 12" cube to help speed up my quilt making for some donation quilts.

ReplyDeleteWhat darling little sailboats! The quilting looks like they are in waves. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI made a sailboat quilt something like that years ago - before accuquilt lol - I don't even have a photo of it.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! I loved your sailboat blocks when you shared them before, but it's amazing how much personality the quilting gives to them. Fun finish, Vicki!
ReplyDeleteLove the backing fabric you selected. This is an awesome donation quilt.
ReplyDeleteThat's a smooth finish :-)

ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet and so glad that you got it done. I especially love the boat with its own mind, going a different direction!
