This quilt was inspired by a Schnibbles quilt. I used my own dimensions. The four patch units I had pieced in January at a retreat I went to. After the retreat I set it aside until last week when I added the setting side and corner triangles to the 4 patch. I also came across all these coin strips already pieced in my UFO closet-whoo hooo I had enough all ready for this quilt!!!!!! So I was able to finish the piecing of this flimsy when my friend came to sew. It measures approx 47 x 64 I think. I already folded it all up and put into the to be quilting closet :-)
So everything is scraps leftover from sashings, borders, blocks from other projects, except for the tea dyed muslin setting triangles, gee it feels so good to make something out of almost nothing!! The 4 patches are 2.5" cut sqs. And the coins are random width strips there were cut at 6" or so (I didn't really measure them perfectly), sewn together into long strips then cut with my 5" wide ruler.
