Craftsy Sweetens Up My Quilt Life Blog hop... and a give away

My blog buddy Sandra asked me if I would be interested in joining in on the Craftsy Sweetens Up My Quilt Life blog hop with her and friends.  Sure I could do that and tell you about some fabric I purchased at Craftsy. I must tell you I am in no way affliated with Craftsy and receive no compensation if you click through any links on my page to Craftsy.

As quilters we all love color and the feel of fabric. For a long time, on other people's blogs, I kept seeing all the wonderful fabric deals they had purchased at Craftsy. Finally I had to go see for myself, and yep I discovered Craftsy had some wonderful fabric bargains. I just love going there and looking around. And you can shop in your jammies if you want to!

I found some amazing Northcott Winter Stonehenge strips on sale that just happened to jump into my cart! I am planning on making a jacket to warm me up;-)

Look at how pretty these are, oooh I think a matching purse is in order too.

No I am not done yet, this Christmas fat quarter bundle jumped into my cart too!!  Hey, whats a girl to do but buy it;-)  It's Holiday Flourish by Peggy Toole for Robert Kaufman.

I know you want a better look at these yummy fat quarters don't you!  All that glitz and gold-oh so pretty.

I had fun making this table runner using some of these beautiful fat quarters.

Here is what Craftsy is giving away during this blog hop:

  1. A jacket?? And a matching bag?? Oh, I cannot wait to see them!! And that table runner is beautiful!

Umm, yeah, Craftsy's fabric deals are seriously awesome! I may or may not get a little week in the knees when I get their email notices for sales ;)

  2. Love your heart button Vicki! Ha, what Judy said, "weak in the knees." Even in (sad)Canadian dollars their deals rock. Man I love that Stonehenge pack, and the tablerunner you made is gorgeous. There's something about a little glitz and gold in Christmas fabric that, like a bird with a bauble, I am so drawn to. Thanks so much for being part of this hop with us!

  3. I love Craftsy deals...hmmm been a victim of them myself. Adorable table runner.

  4. Shopping in pyjamas , that's the way to go , but definitely only online unlike some Belfast people!
The Stonehenge stripes will make an awesome jacket

  5. Great deals Vicki! I always love shopping with Craftsy too!

  6. I know all about fabric jumping into my Craftsy shopping cart! (and patterns, and classes) Tee hee! What a nice table topper you made!

  7. The christmas fabric is beautiful, as the Crown Jewels fabric in the giveaway.
Table runner turned out nice and as usual beautifully quilted.

  8. Why is it that fabric always 'jumps' in our carts? Before you know it the cart is full! The grey stonehenge is gorgeous! Craftsy has some fabulous deals...all the time!

  9. I'm an early morning pajama shopper, too, and love the deals I get on Craftsy. You scored well, and I really like what you did with a few of the fat quarters. Exceptional quilting! The feathers pop so well with the straightline quilting around it. I'll have to remember the technique. Beautiful!

  10. I'm with you I love shopping at Craftsy, great buys, great service and I don't have to go out the door. Who doesn't love getting mail?

  11. That is a beautiful table runner. Looking forward to the Stonehenge Grey Jacket.

  12. Those are some pretty awesome fabric scores. I love the Stonehenge strips, those will make a lovely jacket. And those Christmas FQ's...yes please. I'm a sucker for a print with gold metallic and those rich reds and greens are perfect with it. I've bought what feels like a ton of classes from Craftsy, but you have me thinking I should check out the fabric as well :)

  13. Vicki, your Flourish table topper is gorgeous! Love the way you quilted it too!
LOL - things really do have a way of jumping in your cart when you are looking at Craftsy deals.

  14. I have found so many awesome bargains on Craftsy--love them!! The classes are pretty great too ;-)
