Craftsy Sweetens Up My Quilt Life Blog hop... and a give away

My blog buddy Sandra asked me if I would be interested in joining in on the Craftsy Sweetens Up My Quilt Life blog hop with her and friends.  Sure I could do that and tell you about some fabric I purchased at Craftsy. I must tell you I am in no way affliated with Craftsy and receive no compensation if you click through any links on my page to Craftsy.

As quilters we all love color and the feel of fabric. For a long time, on other people's blogs, I kept seeing all the wonderful fabric deals they had purchased at Craftsy. Finally I had to go see for myself, and yep I discovered Craftsy had some wonderful fabric bargains. I just love going there and looking around. And you can shop in your jammies if you want to!

I found some amazing Northcott Winter Stonehenge strips on sale that just happened to jump into my cart! I am planning on making a jacket to warm me up;-)

Look at how pretty these are, oooh I think a matching purse is in order too.

No I am not done yet, this Christmas fat quarter bundle jumped into my cart too!!  Hey, whats a girl to do but buy it;-)  It's Holiday Flourish by Peggy Toole for Robert Kaufman.

I know you want a better look at these yummy fat quarters don't you!  All that glitz and gold-oh so pretty.

I had fun making this table runner using some of these beautiful fat quarters.

Here is what Craftsy is giving away during this blog hop:

  2. Love your heart button Vicki! Ha, what Judy said, "weak in the knees." Even in (sad)Canadian dollars their deals rock. Man I love that Stonehenge pack, and the tablerunner you made is gorgeous. There's something about a little glitz and gold in Christmas fabric that, like a bird with a bauble, I am so drawn to. Thanks so much for being part of this hop with us!

  8. Why is it that fabric always 'jumps' in our carts? Before you know it the cart is full! The grey stonehenge is gorgeous! Craftsy has some fabulous deals...all the time!

  9. I'm an early morning pajama shopper, too, and love the deals I get on Craftsy. You scored well, and I really like what you did with a few of the fat quarters. Exceptional quilting! The feathers pop so well with the straightline quilting around it. I'll have to remember the technique. Beautiful!

  12. Those are some pretty awesome fabric scores. I love the Stonehenge strips, those will make a lovely jacket. And those Christmas FQ's...yes please. I'm a sucker for a print with gold metallic and those rich reds and greens are perfect with it. I've bought what feels like a ton of classes from Craftsy, but you have me thinking I should check out the fabric as well :)
