Scrappy Yellow and Gray

I have been slacking in my RSC16 blocks, so today I caught up with my grey August blocks and my yellow October blocks for one of my 2 scrappy's in progress. I decided not to do the brown and the red blocks.

Here are all my blocks layed out. I am happy with them like this-at least for now;-)

    Looking GOOD!! I really like the addition of the surprise blue square. Such an unexpected touch!

    Pretty blocks. Doesn't it feel good that our rainbow blocks are becoming quilts?

    I like that your colors today are yellow and gray. I've been working with those two a lot lately. Your scrappy quilt is looking very good!

    Those are so pretty all together! I like the print fabrics you chose that read as solids. I made lots of brown blocks this year, but they are not my favorites. I can see why you left them out of this quilt.

    Your runner is beautifully made and perfect for fall. I have been dying to see this book and would love to win a copy! I have never appliqued before. Am a little intimidated by the idea but am willing to try.
