I have been slacking in my
RSC16 blocks, so today I caught up with my grey August blocks and my yellow October blocks for one of my 2 scrappy's in progress. I decided not to do the brown and the red blocks.
Here are all my blocks layed out. I am happy with them like this-at least for now;-)
Be sure to stop back on Wednesday as I am participating in a blog hop for fellow Island Batik Ambassador Suzy for her new book.

Looking GOOD!! I really like the addition of the surprise blue square. Such an unexpected touch!
ReplyDeleteI like! I like! I don't miss brown or red in there at all.
ReplyDeletePretty blocks. Doesn't it feel good that our rainbow blocks are becoming quilts?
ReplyDeleteI like that your colors today are yellow and gray. I've been working with those two a lot lately. Your scrappy quilt is looking very good!
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty all together! I like the print fabrics you chose that read as solids. I made lots of brown blocks this year, but they are not my favorites. I can see why you left them out of this quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a bright and fun quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great together!
ReplyDeleteCute scrappy blocks. I love the bright colors.
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks. I look forward to reading about the new blog hop and Suzy's new book.
ReplyDeleteuhhh great blocks!!
ReplyDeleteA lovely layout of your blocks.
ReplyDeleteCute colourful blocks. Thanks for linking up to #scraptastictuesday
ReplyDeleteYour runner is beautifully made and perfect for fall. I have been dying to see this book and would love to win a copy! I have never appliqued before. Am a little intimidated by the idea but am willing to try.
ReplyDeleteThese are looking good! I am behind too, one month in one project, and 2 months now (Sept/Oct) in the second project...
ReplyDeleteOh My! Such beautiful colors!
