It's all in the Stars

Making these Swirling Stars table toppers with the 60 degree diamond ruler had me swirling so much I had to make these five table runners. They are so fun to put together. Krista Moser has a free pattern for them. Although hers is made with smaller strips and more of them, I simplified mine to use larger strips and less of them.

Fall leaves-SOLD

One for Halloween, representing the candy corn.

Winter snowflakes in blues-SOLD

Who can resist plaid and paisley for the fall or year round to match your decor.

Evergreen and pinecones that could be Christmas or just an Up North style.

  2. Those table toppers are beautiful, Vicki. Although the pattern is attractive, your quilting is what makes them.

  4. Those are so fun, Vicki! I love the blue one! Something like that would make a good gift for my quilt group's gift exchange. I'll have to go check out her site.

  5. This pattern looks awesome in every one of those colorways. I have that pattern tucked away, and I think I need to make use of it. When I'm able to get down those stairs again. LOL

  7. Hi Vicki! I am not one bit surprised to see that the fall leaves swirling topper sold. They all are so pretty!! The blue one is so cool representing a snowflake. I need to make one of those for my sister. She adores everything blue and I have the ruler already. It's like kismet, right?! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  11. Good grief! I went to Kristas site. watched a few excellent videos! bought 2 diamond rulers, 2 patterns and ordered 4 yards of plum for the background of the new quilt along! Thanks, I think. I've never worked with 60 degree diamonds.
