When I saw the maple leaf Block on Board(BOB) die at Accuquilt on sale, I decided I wanted it. Thinking I would change up the colorful paper pieced leaf runners I had been making for a long time. I thought correct and it makes it so much easier to finish the leaves.

ReplyDeleteI love this fall runner! I can hear your scrappy leaves crinkling in the wind. :)
ReplyDeleteI love maple leaves - they're one of my favorite blocks to make! I love your scrappy ones in all the fall colors. I think you need one of these for your own!
ReplyDeleteOooh... I love what you've done with your die. I fell for the die a while ago and have made all of 3 blocks. I'm hoping to make a 40 x 40" (or somewhere close to that size) wall hanging for above our fire place. I may have to look further afield for my colors though. Yours really shine. Oh, and that quilting -- wonderful...
ReplyDeleteI love scrappy leaves and of course your black background makes them look spectacular! I want more dies but dont know where I'd put them. I'm trying to not be impulsive this morning. I know the sales are good right now.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful runner, Vicki. The fabric colors are so rich and perfect for fall.
ReplyDeleteThose leaves are cuter for their scrappiness, Vicki!!! That purple autumn leaf is the bomb!!!
ReplyDeleteNeat - that is one die that I haven't gotten
