Pumpkin and Sunflower

Recently I worked with this panel, such a fun fall one don't you think?

It quickly went from that to this!

I always have fun adding fun borders to the panels.

And that is one of my recent finishes.  Here is what is on the agenda for the next project.

Care to guess what it is? It won't get finished this week but I'll have a good start for sure.

Linking with Monday parties. Are you linking up to these also?

  1. How cute! Did you fussy cut and place those pieces? Whatever you did, I love it! I'm not good at guessing, but I like your start with that pretty fabric.

    1. No fussy cutting, I just took one of the printed blocks from the main panel to make this smaller wall hanging.

  2. The sawtooth border around the center picture really makes an impact. Very cute!

  3. Nice job on the pumpkins and sunflowers. The panel is really too dark so I'm glad you spice it up with lighter colors. Hum, could it be? Is he coming? I'm guessing Santa is coming to your house! I have that same red fabric but it's going to be a backing for a patriotic wall hanging.

  4. Wait a minute... I just really looked at the picture... you are going to make a half log cabin? The cuts look like what I'm working on as leader/ender.

  13. You always work with the prettiest quilt panels, Vicki and then you make them even more spectacular. Hmmm as far as your next project. I am going to take a wild guess and say maybe an apple wall hanging or runner. I can not wait to see what you have up your "quilter's sleeve" . Hee! Hee!
