These have been a hot commodity in my Etsy shop as of lately. I don't mind a bit. This summer I pieced two of them and they sold in September and earlier this month, you can see them in this POST. You can see that the medium in those is different from the ones below that I have done during the past week.
I love this peppermint candy fabric that I used for the medium value in these new versions.
I am cutting the entire topper with Accuquilt dies. There are 32 flying geese(green) and the background(white w/red dots) triangles for them is 64! That would be a lot of cutting using a ruler!!
Here is the back for the first one.
And the back for the second one is almost the same!
And the back for the third one is all one piece. I love making these! The pattern is from Primrose Cottages but I tweaked it a bit. I made trees from the flying geese and omitted the stars in the corners. Plus I used a different size for the gingham center blocks. But it still resembles their pattern;)

Cute, Vicki! That medium print is just right to be the medium value!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty little toppers - they are every bit as pretty as the others, and I love that peppermint candy fabric! I would guess these will fly out of your shop too.
ReplyDeleteI can understand why these sell so fast - because they are so cute!! Plus they are Christmas-y without being "in your face". Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! No wonder they are flying out of your shop. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

There you go again with that one that I love! The peppermint candy print and the white with red dots are a fun combination for the gingham. I know exactly why this one is popular in your shop!
ReplyDeleteOoh, wee, Vicki! These are delightful. I love gingham. I've been playing around with something similar to these. Good to know they are selling well for you. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteThese gingham toppers are so festive! You are so clever to use the Go cutter. It sure saves a lot of time and fatigue!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweet, no wonder they are selling! Using the Go! cutter does help speed things up, doesn't it! xx
ReplyDeleteOh, they are fun and fun that you cut with your accuquilt...no trimming of the geese, a real time saver.
