Recently I have had people in my Etsy shop looking at fall and Halloween items. I better beef up my supply starting with sunflowers. At least I think of sunflowers as being an early fall sign.
Check out my binding fabric. While messing around in my stash I found this long forgotten yardage of black with metallic gold stripes. I love stripes for binding and this one being cut on the bias, to round those curves, just looks pretty cool!
The first finish of maple leaf runners that I pieced over the winter.
Finding backings in the stash for fall isn't too hard;)

Good thing I snapped this photo of my clematis a few days ago, the rain has since made it droop a bit.
Wishing you all a very happy 4th of July, be safe out there!

Love that stripe for your binding on your sunflower table runner. I like the colors and pattern too of the leaf runner. Those are two awesome finishes!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric choices as always! In my reorganizing this week I found a fall kit I plan to work on - before fall so I can actually enjoy it. LOL
ReplyDeleteooh I love those colors in the autumn runner with the charcoal backgrounds. Yummy.
ReplyDeleteLove the sunflower swirl runner! You found the perfect coordinating fabrics for the backing and binding, too. I bet this one will be popular!
ReplyDeleteHowdy! We are on the same wavelength. I just finished binding a sunflower table runner to list in our shop. Plus, some snowman placemats. Christmas in July, don't you know?!! HAHA Wishing you and yours a safe and Happy 4th. {{Hugs}} a whole bunch. Love your clematis - I've never been able to grow them successfully. ~smile~ Roseanne
