Not enough time
I am having a hard time keeping up with things and getting ready for craft show season. My first show is in less than 2 months and I am panicking I won't have enough to support 4 maybe 5 shows. The big problem is they overlap and it is hard to know how to divide items.
But I have managed to machine knit quite a few of these flaphats in the last 3 weeks. I decided to knit 2 hats a day then move onto something else so it isn't quite so boring. Almost done with them, yeah!
I did however take a little time for myself last week and made this cute giraffe purse!! I love giraffes and have wanted to make the purse for some time but just couldn't decide how I wanted it to look. I used the Shirley pattern from Totes by Sandy and revamped it a bit to include an outside pocket

Friday progress
Here is what I accomplished today-more purses. This pattern called Shirley's purse is from Totes by Sandy, it makes an awesome purse with lots of pockets inside. I restyled mine just a bit to use strips on the bottom half of the outside of the purse. Aren't these yummy looking Batik's and I just happened to have some green/gold Signature variegated thread to quilt the green one. The purple one I used a deep redish purple Signature thread to quilt it. And I just happened to have the right buttons to finish them off-it does pay to have a large stash of supplies, LOL.

What do I quilt on this?
This pattern is called Flatbread by Modern Quilt Relish. I pieced it for a local fabric store so now I am wondering just how to quilt it and looking for suggestions please!! I put the 6x12 ruler on a block so you can get the idea how big of a block it is. These are Christmas fabrics(poinsettia), I know I don't want to do a panto. I would like to custom quilt it, however I need it to be easy enough so I could do it on customer quilts should I get asked :-) What would you do?

Original modern design
I really like how this table runner came out. I designed it myself and quilted it on my Nolting longarm. The quilting design was a fun one to do, Glide thread on top and MaxiLoc in the bobbin.
Connecting threads is having a sale on solids so I just ordered a bunch more!
