Snowman wall hanging-Q4

Just a short post to get this on record-I finished another Q4 goal for On The Windy Side FAL. I just remembered I have to go to quilt guild tonight and I still need to eat dinner!

This snowman  is a panel I pieced earlier this fall and it had to get done to take to a craft show this thursday! I quilted it last week and got it bound over the weekend. I used a grey Glide thread on the whole thing. Hook swirls on the panel and straight lines and U turn quilting on the black and white border.  The black and white border is all pieced by the way. It is strip pieced and then cut on the diagonal. We learned how to do this at a guild meeting when the gals from Platte Branch Design came to speak at our guild in September.  If you go to their website it is in the pattern Shuffling the Deck 3x3 Creations.

Linking up with Freemotion by the River and Quilt Story-see the links on my side bar and go check out some awesome inspiration.  And of course will be linking up with the FAL when it opens at the end of the quarter.
