Hello quilty peeps, how are you doing with your projects this week. I am pleased that I finished piecing three more of my stars and stripes table runners. Yes these three are identical which makes it really easy when cutting.
This time the blue fabric is different from the previous two which you can verify right HERE.
In the evenings another pair of slippers were produced. I talked with my DIL this week to see if her group was able to give out the slippers I previously gave her. She said a big YES and they could use more! I am so happy about that. So I will continue to knit away. These are red 4 ply with a gray sport weight yarn. These would probably fit a 6-8 year old.

Your table runners are so pretty! How satisfying to make slippers then have a request for more. :)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE those fabrics for your stars and stripes!! Very good timing with Presidents' Day approaching. I've been thinking about making a flag-inspired bench pillow. I think the proportions would be appealing and our entryway would easily host it from May through September. Maybe I'll even get around to making one for our shop. Happy Friday to you! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteI am all over those RWB runners!! Lovely. And the slippers remind me I want to knit another pair of felted slippers, by the time I finish them the cold weather will be gone. LOL
ReplyDeletedo you stick anything on to the bottom of the slippers so they don't slide or is it just yarn? I remember making these years ago but remember them being slippery which I wouldn't wear at all now.
ReplyDeleteThose are such a neat design, Vicki! I love the different prints you always find for your patriotic runners. So great that you can make those slippers for people in need, too!
ReplyDeleteLove them!!! and the slippers look cozy!!
