Remember I mentioned last Friday that I was going out of town to a fabric estate sale. Indeed I went, it was 1.5 hr drive one way. It's always bittersweet as a quilter has passed and left loads of fabric behind. Sad to think she won't be getting the projects done she had hoped. The husband hired the Amish to display and sell it for him. The fabric was displayed nicely by color or holiday in the Amish greenhouse. I really enjoyed going through and filling my bag with goodies. The two young gals working told me they still had about 20 rubbermaid tubs to set out yet. I hated to leave as I wanted to see what else they had!! But my wallet said I had to go. After I got home I pressed and wound each piece around my 6" ruler and made a pretty stack.

The last three days have been all about maple leaves. Lots of die cutting happened. I have no idea exactly how many maple leaf runners I will get from all the cutting I did. But this is the result...
I am feeling like a rubber ball bouncing around the room, LOL. Seriously I have a lot of different projects I am working on, all in different stages and keep bouncing from one to another.
Two of three Easter runners have been quilted. Will bind and applique after the third one gets to this stage.

Not much stitching has happened yet this weekend. But during the week I did a little more stitching on this cross stitch that I started just over a week ago.
Linking with Slow Sunday Stitching
I had so much fun putting this Christmas Cardinals wall hanging together. After going through my Christmas/winter panels this is the one I chose to work on first. Isn't it pretty!

And I needed another turkey.
Friday I quilted the two gnome runner flimsies. Saturday I did all the machine applique on them.
Friday evening I started a new cross stitch. I will be doing this for Slow Stitching Sunday tonight also.

I have been very busy this week. Two of these Snow Dudes have been pieced and one quilted.
Let's begin with our little vacay over the weekend. The hubby and I decided on a whim to get away for the weekend and go into Wisconsin and do some ATV trail riding. The weather was perfect for it. We did two trails, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. In a previous year we did part of them. We got to see some leaves showing their beautiful fall colors. Definitely not at their peak yet.
