Pumpkin Harvest

Pumpkin Harvest was long overdue to be made again. Pieced and quilted in the last few days. 

A fun little wall hanging at 12"x 25". The pattern can be found in my Esty pattern shop HERE.

I put triangles in the corner to hook a dowel rod in. Well shoot I put the backing on upside down, didn't notice till I took the photo! It's the backing and won't be seen:-l

Or it can be a door banner.

To-Do-Many-Things-Tuesday!

 How can it possibly be Tuesday already!!  I think we all say that each week don't we?  Last Tuesday of September-that's a scary thought. It's been a very busy productive week!

The goals I set for the week were:

1. Finish a Pumpkin Harvest wall hangings 👍 I picked up this new black that sorta looks like grunge at Hobby Lobby recently.

2. Three local friends were coming over 👍👍👍 Yep it was a great afternoon!  Holy cow they bought several runners and between all three of them they ordered 8 more runners and 2 wall hangings!!  They don't need them until December so I can work them in whenever I have time between keeping up with my Etsy shop. Eight of these runners are alike-not sure I have enough red batik so I might have to go shopping:0

3. Write up at least one blog post 👍👍 I did two.  If you missed them you can see them HERE and HERE.

4.Quilt a turkey table runner  👍

5. Whatever else need doing  👍  That's an easy one to meet!  But no photo on it today, but come back on Friday and you will see my newest pattern release. Yes it is finally ready!  I will be binding it tomorrow and get photos.  I did already finish one and sold it already. I made a little modification to the one I will use for the cover photo.  

Also on the whatever list are these two Tilted Tree runners.  

And OMG I finally got around to whipping up the sunflower runner!  I took it off the goal list and then finally did it, LOL

Not done yet LOL, two Gnome runners- to be fair these were already pieced.  So the quilting, applique and binding for this week. 

Okay that's it!  Now don't forget to stop back on Friday for a look at the new pattern!!  

This week:

1. Write up the pattern release blog post and get it listed in my Etsy shop.

2.  Make a Snowman wall hanging.

3. Go to the Amish Auction with a friend.

4. Whatever else needs making;)

Tuesday weekly goals

Hey there, hope you all have had a wonderful week of sewing therapy.  I needed lots of therapy this week, lots of sleepless nights, darn full moon!  

Anyway last weeks goals were lofty in hindsight but I did pretty well with them.

1. I made another Halloween flimsy yesterday so it needs quilting ASAP. ✅ 

Yes it is quilted, bound and listed. I am pretty sure I bought this panel a year ago at Quilt Cove in the Twin Cities.  The twisted ribbon border was a new one for me to make.  And there is that cute Candy Corn fabric I picked up at Walmart. It finished at 30"x47". 

2. Quilt another fall pumpkin embroidered wall hanging ASAP.✅  Yes it is quilted, bound and listed too.  The embroidery pattern is by Chestnut Junction.

3. Quilt another turkey table runner. ✅ Yes, they all look the same though as I use the same fabric because that is what seems to work best for this runner. 

4. Make more Pumpkin Harvest wall hangings.(my pattern) ✅ One done. 

5. Make sunflower wall hanging. (my pattern)- That is a big fat NOPE!

6. Work on whatever else I can squeeze in! ✅ I finished two other items and I will post them later this week. I mean you need something to come back for, right!!

Pumpkin Harvest-pattern release!

I am thrilled to be releasing another pattern!  It's my third for the year, that's a record for me!!  This wall hanging is called Pumpkin Harvest.  You may have already seen a version of this a few months ago HERE.  That one had stenciled leaves.  This one has applique leaves to make it easy for anyone to do.

Pumpkin Harvest is approximately 12" x 26", you can hang it on your wall or on a door to greet your guests.  

How sweet are these two pumpkins!  I just love fall and fall colors. The black with tan speckled background sets of the colors so well.  This pattern is a very quick make, whip it up in a day!  

I think a beginner could master this but they should have some knowledge of applique as I don't go into how to do that.  But there are tons of help on the internet available. 

Wendy from Pieceful Thoughts recently tested it for me.  She will be showing hers soon on her blog.
